*UPDATED*

We did not get many answers (answers are highlighted below) to the questions this week, let’s hope that we can get more people to comment for next weeks post!  If you know Brewer fans, send them our link.

What I would like to do here is have a couple of questions, Brewer related of course, on Tuesdays throughout the baseball season.  I think I will have the questions posted here, then post them on Twitter and Facebook, allow comments to be posted and then come back with the answers in an updated post.

There is no prizes for getting me the answers, I know how easy it is to search Google.  This is going to be geared towards Brewer facts that you may have never known.  All of the questions will be from 1969 to present.

Who is/was the tallest Brewer?

In case you haven’t looked up the answer yet, there are two Brewers that tie for being the tallest.  One is Seth McClung and the other is Corey Hart.  They both top out at 6 foot 6 inches tall.

What is the most stolen bases for a Brewer in ONE season?

 I didn’t know this one from the start and still never heard of this guy, but Tommy Harper leads the Brewers in stolen bases in ONE season with 73, back in 1969.

If you think you know, place a comment below. If you searched to find out, place a comment below as well. Either way, we’ll update this post with the correct answers, and some information about each, by tomorrow night.

    Without searching, I would think Ritchie Sexton or Axford (he looks like a tall sob).

    That is a pretty good guess, hopefully most will guess without searching.

  3. gysmo says:

    I know that the stolen bases one is from one of the earlier seasons, I can’t remember who. I don’t have a clue on the second one, I guess Corey Hart.

  4. SJF says:

    MLB shows Sexson at 6’8″, but I found another website that says he was 6’6″. I side with MLB… http://mlb.mlb.com/team/player.jsp?player_id=122027

    I see I’ve missed a couple trivia questions. The stolen base one I would have said Pat Listach, but I see you have Harper down for it. Technically, though, if that happened in ’69, that would have been when the Brewers were the Pilots in Seattle, so I wouldn’t have guessed him. Actually I wouldn’t have guessed him at all.

    @speedcactus
    You are correct in saying the Brewers were the Pilots in 1969. The reason I chose that year is because that’s how far back the stats go on the site on confirm with.
